Show: Around The World in 80 Dates
Venue: The Piglet at Gluttony
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – 4 stars
Chris Henry is hilarious, endearing, and colourful in his portrayal of his love life, despite his current lack thereof. Through his journey of naughty tales and past relationships, he manages to make the audience not only laugh, but reflect on their own relationships. It’s a great way to strike up healthy conversation between yourself and your partner so make sure you check it out this year or at next year’s Fringe.
His engagement with his audience is refreshing and fun – audience participation is always engaging. His performances are customised based on his locations and the individuals in the audience, creating genuine connections with the crowd. You’ll feel like you’re part of the story and can relate to the experiences!
The show is one of humanity, of compassion and connection, opening up to each other in what can be our most embarrassing, intimate and personal moments. There is something for everyone in this show, even the cynics out there.
Overall a great event, worth taking your partner too and taking a look at your love life from a unique and fun perspective.
